Scars are the result from overstretching of the skin. Over stretching disrupts the normal production of collagen, causing a scar.

Causes

Human skin is contains of three layers of the structure of cells, the epidermis that is the outer layer, the dermis that is the middle layer, and the subcutaneous stratum that is innermost layer. Stretch marks occur on the middle layer that is dermis. Middle layer or dermis helps the skin to retain its shape if the body is stretched by some reason. Continuous stretching over period of some time, results in overstretching of body. This causes loss of elasticity and causing the connective fibers within to break. The result is stretch marks. After childbirth or weight loss body tends to come to its original form and can often reduce the stretch marks. Marks can appear anywhere. Stretch marks are most likely to appear where fat is accumulated. Or even the part of the body where it can stretch. Common places for such marks are the abdomen, breasts, upper arms, underarms, inner and outer thighs, hips and buttocks. They pose no health risk. And do not respond to the body’s ability to repair itself. So they need to be treated externally.

Treating the stretch marks with exercise

Exercises in combinations with ointment and creams can certainly disappear the stretch marks. Basically stretch marks are the result of skin losing its elasticity. So it is necessary to nurture skin with necessary nutrients. Exercise makes your body sweat. This sweat is the fat that is melted out of the body that was gathered under your skin. This can easily open the pores in the skin. But when you want to open the skin you need to exercise your body more. Once the pores are open massage it with the ointment and the skin that is mentioned by the dermatologists. Exercise also causes the rupture in the dead skin, which in turn results in shading of the dry skin and building up of new skin.
