Intake Proteins To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks



It is very common that almost every woman in a specific time of their lives will develop stretch marks. Others simply have a generic preposition to stretch marks and get them everywhere and others, never develop stretch marks at all. They look reddish lines across the body, and with time, they will turn white. In pregnancy, it is common to have them, due that the skin it is stretching very rapidly to accommodate the baby and milk stored in the breasts. Once the stretch mark develops, they will stay with you forever; but with time, they will be less noticeable. The only way to avoid stretch marks is preventing them.

Cause of stretch marks

Stretch marks can appear anywhere on your body on your body skin is stretched, or overstretched. The normal production of collagen is disrupted and as a result, stretch marks appear. They are most likely to appear in the places where fat is stored. Theses marks are not harmful but are sometimes creating embarrassing conditions. These marks are simply cosmetic issue, and needs to be treated accordingly. Though stretch marks are common in girls and women, men get stretch marks too. Obese people, bodybuilders, and people who use steroid-containing skin cream can get stretch marks. Unfortunately, there is no permanent solution of stretch marks. However, you can reduce their appearance by not gaining too much of weight and with proper preventative measures. The earlier you can detect them, when they are pink or reddish brown, the more likely you are to diminish their appearance.

Proteins help

Have a proper diet in order to reduce these stretch marks. Eat foods high in vitamin A, E, C, which might help form collagen, the supporting fibers in the skin. Intake of proteins is also as important as it helps forming collagen. Zinc is also valuable, so you might eat foods high in this or use a supplement. Essential fatty acids make cell walls, and those can be found in many vegetables, vegetable oils, and fish oils. Drink a lot of water and make sure that you keep your skin hydrated. Proper intake of the proteins will help reducing your stretch marks.
