Nose Bridge Piercing




Nose Piercing is the piercing of nose skin or cartilage on any part of the nose. It is normally done for wearing jewelry. It is one of the most common and the most popular part used for piercing after earlobe.

Nose Bridge Piercing:

It is another type of nose piercing after nostril piercing and septum piercing. This piercing is done through a small flap of skin that is between the eyes and just above the nose. Mostly none of the piercings are never done through bones. This type of piercing is no exception. Curved barbells and straight barbells are the most commonly used for nose bridge piercing and are also very popular with the piercing enthusiasts. The only drawback of this piercing is that there is a high rate of rejection in many of the enthusiasts and if not dealt with immediately and properly, then it may result in a scar right on your nose. If you are going to get your nose bridge pierced, then following are the guidelines for the aftercare:

* A piercing is a wound. The result will be swelling, bleeding, itching, etc. Also it is natural for your body to throw out the dead cells and plasma, which will come out in the form of a white-yellow fluid. To properly clean the crust of the white-yellow fluid you must refer to primary suggestions for healing of your piercing.

* You must not touch the piercing without washing your hands by an antiseptic. This way you could prevent any infections till the piercing is healed.

* You strictly must not use any petroleum based ointments, alcohol, peroxide, iodine, etc.

* You should check the tightness of your jewelry at the least once a day. Also remember you do not touch the piercing without washing your hands with an anti-bacterial.

* During the entire healing period you must not remove the jewelry this may result in the blocking of the hole. It may also result in the blocking of the hole with an infection. It may have serious consequences.
