The oil perfume industry has evolved a lot in modern times. The perfume manufacturers go on adding new products. The oil perfume category also has changed from time to time. There are different ways to make an oil perfume category. In this small article about oil perfume category, I will try to describe two methods of oil perfume category.

The classification of modern perfumes has posed lot many challenges. These are blends of different types of essential oils. The combining effect is difficult to explain and categorize. The first and largest oil perfume category will be of course floral. In this you get essential oils distilled from the flowers. The flowers like rose, jasmine, gardenia, violet, and carnation are famous and well known to even common people. The essential oils are extracted from these types of flowers. This is the prime ingredient. There can be other perfume oils used for the blending purpose. But the basic and primary ingredient will be floral oil. There can be sub category such as floral-citrus, floral-woody and lot many other.

The next perfume oil category will be oriental. In theses the spices, musk and resins are used. These perfumes give an exotic and warm impression. These are generally full bodied compositions. Shalimar, contradiction is two examples in this oil perfume category. There are sub categories. Oriental-citrusy, oriental-spicy are the some of these subcategories.

Chypre is next oil perfume category. The name was originally for the sweet, soft and earthy fragrances produced in the land of Cyprus. The Cyprus is in the French, Chypre. The original fragrance is no more available. But similar fragrances are put in this category. There will be sub category such as Chypre- fruity.

Citrus is next oil perfume category. There are lot many citrus fruits well known to all. The essential oils from them from the basic ingredient in this oil perfume category. As usual the sub categories are possible.

The next oil perfume category is green. This involves green material like grass, leaves, herbs and pine. Fougere is one more oil perfume category.

The concentration in the eau de cologne can give you different types as the oil perfume category. There are three types of concentrations of essential oils possible in these eau de colognes. The first is 2-5; the second one is 4-10, the third is 8-15 and the fourth is PARAFUM. 15-25 concentration. It is possible to have different type of classification for the oil perfume category.
