Baking soda is a natural and resourceful substance made from soda ash, sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate. Baking soda has various uses including deodorizing, baking, cleaning and is the best for all beauty. Beauty products can be developed in your home and instead of purchasing it. Preparing on your own using affordable baking soda and other ingredients make very good beauty products. Few beauty products that can be easily made using baking soda are:

1. Soothing bath: Adding half cup of baking soda to your bath water creates a soothing bath and this leaves your skin smooth and refreshed.

2. Rough skin: A paste of baking soda with water rubbed on rough skin such as elbows and knees makes it smooth. Rinse away the paste using warm water.

3. Foot care: Mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda in warm water and soak your feet for any amount of time. Then gently scrub your feet with a paste of baking soda and water. Your feet will be relaxed.

4. Skin exfoliate : Make a past using 3 parts baking soda with 1 part water and gently rub this mixture in a circular motion to exfoliate your face or your body. Rinse with warm water for best results.

5. Whiter teeth: Brushing teeth with baking soda and rinsing it with water gives whiter teeth.

6. Hair care: Sprinkle little baking soda in your hand and mix it with your shampoo and rinse your hair thoroughly. This mixture helps keeping your hair clean.

7. Soothing bath oil: To make soothing bath oil, take 4 tablespoons of baking soda, 16 ounces of milk, 8 ounces of honey, 16 tablespoons of cooking salt and 4 ounces of baby oil. All these measures are for 1 bath. Mix all these in a bowl, stir well and pour this mixture in warm water stir it and have a soothing bath.

8. Nail care: Applying baking soda to the cuticle brush and scrub your nails for pretty looking nails.

9. Cleans combs and brushes: Soak brushes and combs in a teaspoon of baking soda and warm water. Rinse them and let them dry before use. You will get clean combs and brushes.

10. Dry Shampoo: Mix a part of baby powder with baking soda and 3 drops of essential oil. Apply this mixture to the root of your hair and comb it. This mixture absorbs the excess oil and freshen your hair. You can do this when you are running late and lack time to shampoo.
